Alpha Training & Consulting ("we," "our," or "us"), headquartered at 8634 Acorn Lane, Sandy, Utah, operates asqcqt.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information and describes the rights available to you under applicable data-protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Name, email address, and contact details
  • Professional information (employer, job title)
  • Payment information (processed by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers)
  • Course progress and completion data
  • Communications you send us (contact forms, emails)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent, and referring URL. This data is collected only with your consent via Google Analytics (see Section 5).

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing necessary to enroll you in a course, process payment, or deliver training services you have purchased.
  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Improving the Site, preventing fraud, and securing our systems, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Analytics cookies and any marketing communications — you may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 9).
  • Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Complying with applicable laws such as tax, accounting, or law-enforcement requests.

5. Google Analytics & Consent Mode v2

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site. In compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy requirements, we have implemented Google Consent Mode v2:

  • By default, analytics_storage and ad_storage are set to denied before any GA script is executed.
  • No cookies that identify individual users (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) are written until you grant consent via our cookie banner.
  • When consent is denied, Google may still receive anonymous, cookieless, aggregated signals for modeling purposes; these do not identify you.
  • When you grant analytics consent, GA4 is permitted to set its cookies and send a page-view event.
  • You can change or withdraw consent at any time via "Manage Cookie Preferences" in the footer.

6. Sharing Your Information

We share personal data only as described below:

  • Service Providers: Payment processors, learning management systems (TalentLMS), and cloud infrastructure providers who are contractually bound to handle your data only on our instructions.
  • Google LLC: Analytics data (subject to your consent), processed under Google's privacy policy and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Professional Advisors: Lawyers, accountants, and insurers under confidentiality obligations.
  • Government & Regulators: Where required by applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

7. International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to legitimise these transfers. You may request a copy of relevant SCCs by contacting us.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy or as required by law. Course records are retained for a minimum of three years. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention settings (up to 14 months for event data in GA4). Contact-form data is retained for up to two years.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have the following rights:

  • Access: Obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your data where there is no compelling reason to continue processing.
  • Restriction of Processing: Ask us to suspend processing in certain circumstances.
  • Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (where processing is based on consent or contract).
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Use "Manage Cookie Preferences" in the footer for analytics consent.
  • Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., your EU Member State's Data Protection Authority, or the UK ICO).

Response timeline: We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days. Where requests are complex or numerous, we may extend this by a further 60 days with notice.

10. California Residents — CCPA / CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may nonetheless signal your preference via "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer, which opens our cookie-preference panel.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by the CPRA.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA/CPRA rights.
